On November 2, 2023, South Korea successfully deployed its fifth reconnaissance satellite as part of the Ministry of National Defense’s (MND) Project 425 initiative. This deployment occurred via SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket during the Bandwagon-4 rideshare mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

- Satellite 1: Launched in December 2023, features an Electro-Optic/Infrared (EO/IR) payload that operates effectively in both visible and infrared spectrums.
- Satellites 2, 3, and 4: Incorporate SAR payloads similar to the fifth satellite.
