  • Interception range: 80 km
  • Altitude coverage: 30 km

In comparison, the SLM retains impressive capabilities with:

  • Range: 60 km
  • Interception range: 40 km
  • Altitude coverage: 20 km

The integration of the combat-proven IRIS-T SLM with the emerging SLX variant fosters a layered air defense architecture.
