Damen Naval has announced a significant collaboration with Danish defense technology firm Terma A/S to provide the C-Guard decoy launching system. This advanced system will be integrated into the first of four frigates being constructed under the Colombian Navy’s Strategic Surface Platform (PES) program.

- Vessel Designation: The inaugural frigate, identified as PES 10714CO, will utilize Damen’s Sigma 10514 design framework.
- Construction Locale: The production will take place in collaboration with the Science and Technology Corporation for the Development of the Naval, Maritime and River Industry (Cotecmar) in Cartagena de Indias.
- Delivery Timeline: The frigate is expected to be delivered by 2030.
