Poland and Rheinmetall Forge Strategic Partnership for Support Vehicles

On October 13, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and Rheinmetall formalized a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at collaboration on the development of support vehicles for the Polish Armed Forces. This partnership seeks to establish a joint venture that will serve as a European hub for support vehicles.
Objectives of the Joint Venture
The vehicle center envisaged by the MOU will be tasked with producing a variety of specialized vehicles, including:
- Armoured Recovery Vehicles (ARVs)
- Armoured Engineering Vehicles equipped with mine-breaching capabilities
- Armoured Vehicle-Launched Bridges
Rheinmetall highlighted its existing portfolio, which includes advanced models such as the Keiler NG (Next Generation) armoured breaching vehicle, specifically designed for modern battlefield requirements.
